Position : Technical Training Author
Location : Dungannon
Reporting to : Technical Training Manager
The successful applicant will be working within the Technical Training Team and will be responsible for the creation of Training Material Publications for Terex MP Brands including our range of Crushers, Screeners, Recycling Systems and Environmental Equipment.
You will be responsible for the research, process and production of Technical Training Material across the machine range. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of working in a busy engineering environment to deliver high quality information in the most efficient and effective way possible within tight deadlines.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
To produce, issue and revise end user Training Material to meet new products prior to being dispatched to the field. This includes but is not restricted to:
Manage the portfolio of tasks ensuring they are logged and given priority levels.
Use latest 3D software to produce Training Material as required.
Improve customer service by providing accurate, user friendly Training Information, thereby reducing customer downtime.
To manage communication links with all key departments both internally and externally.
To work with the Technical Training Team and wider Aftersales Team to support business need.
To support the efforts buy moving to various sites in order to ensure task completion.
Experience and qualifications
Excellent computer skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to produce material to suit the need of the target audience.
Willingness to travel locally within the UK and ROI as required.
Knowledge of 3D modelling software.
3rd level qualification gained.
Previous experience in a publications role.
