Factset Research Systems Senior Software Engineer, SES2024YZ (R24109) in Norwalk, Connecticut

Senior Software Engineer, Asset Allocation Engineering, FactSet Research Systems Inc., Norwalk, CT:Manages a team of software engineers or projects within the Asset Allocation Engineering department. Duties will include: Review product requirement documents; problem solving and working on high-level (operational or architectural) issues to ensure effectiveness of products under your direct management; implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams; sets goals and mentors development of ongoing projects; provides guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation; reviews code changes and submissions; presents technical and operational issues to senior management and sets deadlines and priorities for team members; helps to coordinate recruiting, training and new hire onboarding for immediate team.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related technical field and 2 years of software engineering industry experience working with the following technologies: JavaScript, Vue, HTML, CSS, SQL, SAS. Must also have full life cycle experience.

Basic pay range is one hundred twenty thousand dollars to one hundred fifty thousand dollars per year for full -time employment (Mon. - Fri. 9-5).
