3D Artist 5 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated 3D Artist V for an opportunity in Redmond, WA! Position Title: 3D Artist V Location: Redmond, WA Anticipated Start Date: 03/19/2024. Job Type: Contract/Onsite Pay Range: $75.00 - $80.00 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: Summary: The main function of a 3D Artist is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical 3D Artist needs to have a high level of creativity and be able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills. Job Responsibilities: * Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems. * Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design. * Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client. * Create charts and graphs from data given. Qualifications: * Associate degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred * 10+ years' experience required. * Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability. * Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film. * Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images. * Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software. Candidate Requirements: * Years of Experience Required: 10+ overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: Associate degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred * Disqualifiers: Candidates with n/a will not be eligible for the role. * Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain all 3 hard skills listed. * Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience * Minimum 10+ years' experience with Unity optimization: creating and optimizing 3D assets and environments in VR using the Unity engine. * Minimum 10+ years' experience with 3D asset management: working with 3D objects, meshes, textures, and other components of 3D content. * Minimum 10+ years' experience with Environment creation: designing and building realistic and immersive VR scenes with baked lighting and other techniques.
